Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- 3 - 8 years' experience in drainage and stormwater design.
- Proficiency in 12d and DRAINS software is essential.
- Experience working with relevant design standards and local authority requirements.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality drainage designs, models, and documentation for roads and a range of infrastructure projects.
- Undertake hydrological and hydraulic analysis using industry-standard tools.
- Design stormwater management systems, culverts, pits, pipes, open channels, and flood studies.
- Coordinate with project managers, other discipline engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure design integration.
- Contribute to the preparation of design reports, calculations, and drawings.
- Apply knowledge of Austroads, Main Roads WA, and local council drainage standards and guidelines.
