Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Extensive experience in sourcing, negotiations, and contract management for services and goods in oil & gas, mining, environmental, or engineering sectors.
- Solid grasp of procurement strategies, supply chain processes, and legal principles in contracting.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and financial aspects of contracts, including budgeting and pricing.
- Skilled in vendor evaluation, dispute resolution, and contractor relationship management.
- Proficient with contract management tools, SAP, and ERP systems, with experience monitoring performance, KPIs, and audits.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the full contract lifecycle and support the Category Management Lead in executing category strategies by ensuring appropriate contracts are in place.
- Implement Client's strategic sourcing practices in line with the Strategic Sourcing Playbook.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align contracts with operational goals and ensure partner satisfaction.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships, resolve contract issues promptly, and negotiate favorable contract changes.
- Oversee procurement activities to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards, including health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Monitor and report on contract performance and compliance, contributing insights to improve regional procurement strategies.
