Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience working in a mining and resource project environment ideally Owner or EPCM teams.
- Demonstrated experience in controlling costs in execution phase of projects
- Strong knowledge of cost control principles, including budget allocation, WBS, SOW, and cost terminology.
- Ability to generate detailed and insightful cost reports that accurately reflect the project's financial standing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify cost and schedule risks early and propose mitigating actions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and control project costs for project.
- Ensure accurate cost reporting and track financial performance to maintain transparency.
- Monitor progress on the project, flagging any potential budget or schedule issues.
- Identify risks and provide solutions in respect of engineering standards and project schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all cost control information is up-to-date and accurate
