Qualifications & Skills
- Degree qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering with a focus façade design.
- 310 years of experience in façade engineering
- Solid understanding of Australian building codes, facade performance requirements, and construction detailing.
- Proficiency in engineering and design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino/Grasshopper, Revit, and structural analysis tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and engineering of façade systems including curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and shading systems.
- Perform structural analysis and thermal performance reviews of façade elements.
- Liaise with architects, clients, and other consultants to ensure seamless integration of façade design with overall building structures.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports in accordance with relevant codes and project requirements.
- Provide support during fabrication and installation stages, including site inspections and technical advice.
