Qualifications & Skills
- Formal Civil Engineering qualifications
- 8 years experience + across technical civil engineering roles.
- Strong experience in Earthworks, Roadworks and Drainage design engineering in a relevant industry, e.g, mining, mineral processing, materials handling, and heavy industrial.
- Engineering consultant background required
- Mining NPI design experience required
- Able to work closely with clients, vendors and suppliers
- Able top complete engineering and project documentation
- Excellent safety attitude
- Excellent team skills
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed engineering design of civil works including roads, drainage, earthworks, bulk earthmoving, foundations, and NPI facilities (e.g., camps, laydowns, access roads).
- Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
- Interface with structural, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Provide technical support during construction, including responding to RFIs, site queries, and design modifications.
- Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with scope, budget, and schedule.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
