Senior Contracts Specialist
• Location: Brisbane, QLD
• Roster: Office Based with Occasional Site Travel
• Key Essential Qualification: Extensive experience in contract administration of civil works
Role Opportunity
As a Senior Contracts Specialist, you will be responsible for the formation and administration of complex civil contracts within a major infrastructure project. Based in Brisbane, you will be the primary supply chain point of contact for your assigned contract packages, ensuring compliance with project requirements. You will liaise with key stakeholders, manage claims, and oversee contract performance to drive successful project outcomes.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
• Experience in administering medium/large Earthworks contracts
• Advanced knowledge of contract formation and administration
• Strong contract claims and dispute resolution experience
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Thorough understanding of legal and commercial risks in construction
• Australian working rights required (no sponsorship available)
Duties & Responsibilities
• Prepare and manage bid request packages and contract documentation
• Evaluate and recommend bidders within delegated approval authority
• Ensure contract compliance and adherence to company policies
• Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, and Project Controls teams
• Manage claims, contract variations, delays, and extensions of time
• Administer supplier and subcontractor agreements, including procurement and scheduling
• Monitor and report on project contract performance
