Senior Mechanical Designer
Role Opportunity
Senior and Lead Mechanical Designers for an immediate start on a high-profile mining project. This is a short-term 1-3 month contract with potential for further opportunities across various commodities, from concept studies to detailed design.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
• 6+ years of experience in mining and minerals projects
• Strong knowledge of Material Handling Layout, Process Plant Layout, or Conveyor Detail Design
• Proficiency in MicroStation
• Well-developed communication and leadership skills
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical Design
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Duties & Responsibilities
• Produce 3D models and detailed technical drawings
• Facilitate design reviews and coordinate multi-discipline teams
• Provide practical layout solutions and innovative designs
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Clients
• Offer technical guidance and leadership to junior team members
• Ensure project time, cost, and quality targets are met
