Role Opportunity
As a Senior Safety Advisor, you will leverage your expertise in workplace health and safety to drive proactive risk management, provide strategic solutions, and foster a strong safety culture that reduces incidents and hazards.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
  • Tertiary degree or diploma in OHS or related discipline.
  • Experience in construction and/or heavy industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
  • Strong working knowledge of OHS, risk management, emergency response and injury management in the resources sector.
  • High level organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the review, development, and maintenance of the project Health & Safety Management Plan and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
  • Support the project team in delivery of safety initiatives
  • Coordinate and manage the preparation, communication, and execution of safety initiatives, OHS performance outcomes and management plans.
  • Facilitate significant incident investigations
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver related programs and safety inductions.
  • Collaborate and submit all relevant reports and statistics as required
  • Review, comment and approve contractor safety documentation including HSE plans, CRAWs, SWMS and JHAs.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
