About the Role
Join a growing team that is backed by a stable mining firm. Work alongside experienced environmental specialists while having the chance to visit the site to become familiar with its operations.
Key Criteria
As the successful candidate for the role of Approvals Specialist, you will meet the following criteria;
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that all products and services meet regulatory requirements and company standards
• Review and analyse technical data, product specifications, and test results to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Prepare and submit regulatory applications to relevant authorities
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain approvals, licenses, and permits
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and communicate any changes to the relevant stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve compliance issues
• Participate in audits and inspections by regulatory authorities
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as regulatory affairs, chemistry, biology, or engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably in the environmental industry
• Delivering approvals EPBC, EP Act part IV&V, Mining act and international regulations
