Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Formal Civil/Structural Engineering qualifications that is recognised by Engineers Australia.
- 8-15 years experience as a Structural Engineer with a strong background executing transport/resources/energy/buildings projects within Australia
- Chartered member (CPeng) of Institute of Engineers Australia
- Excellent Business Development skills
- Ability to liaise with project managers and architects effectively
- Ability to review designs, good problem solving skills and good understanding of commercial risk with contract management experience.
- Current working rights for Australia
Duties & Responsibilities
- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of engineers across structural projects.
- Manage existing client relationships and use your excellent networks to build new relationships
- Manage and resolve project issues and consider construction costings and practices in the design process
