Civil Project Engineer to provide on-site support for a large ANFO facility in the Pilbara region of WA
Benefits:
- FIFO roster from Perth : 8 days on, 6 days off
- 12 hour days
- Contract duration: 9 months - 40 weeks
- Competitive hourly rate offered
Qualifications & Skills
- Formal Civil Engineering qualifications that are recognised by Engineers Australia
- Client side project engineering background preferred
- Concrete and Earthworks (bulk/detailed) experience essential
- Strong QA/QC background
- Strong background in work package delivery with a good understanding of procurement, tender/contract documentation, schedule, cost tracking, reporting and quality.
- Strong site background
- Able to work closely with clients, vendors and suppliers
- Able top complete a range of project documentation
- Excellent safety attitude
Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing onsite project delivery support for bulk earthworks and concrete packages
- All Quality Reporting/Recording is performed as the works proceed and the MDR is updated daily
- Liaising closely with client, vendors and suppliers
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the Contract Documentation
- Tracking cost, budget and schedule
- All Contractor reporting is timely and accurate
- Progress claims are submitted timely and accurately
- Liaising closely with design engineering teams in Perth
