Our EPCM client is seeking a skilled Contracts Advisor to join their dynamic team working on a major Rio Project currently in execution. This pivotal role focuses on Camp Relocation and involves managing camp packages while supporting the wider team with additional ad hoc packages as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Camp Relocation: Oversee and manage all aspects of camp relocation packages.
- Market Engagement: Conduct front-end market engagement, including expressions of interest, to identify capable, available, and suitable contractors.
- Contract Development: Develop, tender, review, and recommend contract packages within the mining projects environment.
- Contractor Knowledge: Utilize your knowledge of local contractors across various specialties, including Earthworks, Non-Process Infrastructure, Mechanical, Power, and Communications.
Key Criteria:
- Experience in a EPCM environment.
- Proven experience in front-end market engagement to assess contractor capabilities, capacity, and suitability.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, tender, review, and recommend contract packages within mining projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local contractors in Earthworks, Non-Process Infrastructure, Mechanical, Power, and Communications.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
