Currently seeking a Contracts Specialist to play a critical awarding and managing the contracts necessary for the commissioning of a chemical plant construction project under an owner-managed delivery model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of contracts from awarding to execution, ensuring seamless support for the plant's commissioning phase.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to align contracts with project requirements.
- Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts related to various scopes within the construction and commissioning phases of the project.
- Ensure all contracts comply with industry standards and project-specific requirements.
- Troubleshoot contract-related issues and mitigate risks to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Key Criteria
- 5-6 years of hands-on contracts experience in construction and commissioning, ideally within major projects.
- Background with Owner, EPCM, or Contractors in the mining, energy sectors is preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently and thrive in an autonomous role, ensuring project success.
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic project environment.
