Job description

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Project Manager to join our client's team. This role involves managing all aspects of project implementation, from planning and documentation to procurement and team supervision. With a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency, the successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience to deliver high-standard engineering solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Manage control system engineering projects in the mining sector.
- Implement engineering programs, activities, milestones, and staff requirements.
- Oversee project reporting, cost control, scheduling, HSEQ, and stakeholder interfacing.
- Handle procurement, contract management, sub-contractor packages, and vendor supply.
- Develop project documentation: Management Plans, Schedules, Scopes of Work, Reports, Functional Specifications, and Procedures.
- Create tender packages, pre-sales proposals, and estimates, and manage scope changes.
- Ensure Safety in Design throughout the project lifecycle, managing and mitigating risks.
- Supervise teams, ensuring engineering tasks meet standards and quality.
- Assist with performance reviews, training, and development of engineers.

Requirements:
- Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronic or Control Systems.
- Proven experience in control system implementation (PLC & SCADA software development and testing).
- Experience in mining facilities with strong process and automation knowledge.
- Experience commissioning automated control systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- 10 years of engineering and project delivery experience.
