Role Opportunity
Our clients are currently seeking experienced Cost Control professionals to support multiple projects within the WA Mining and Construction sector in both Perth-based and FIFO capacities. These projects cover both Brownfield and Greenfield scopes of work within commodities such as Iron Ore, Gold, Lithium and Rare Earths.
We are currently inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who can demonstrate the below criteria.

- Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience working in a mining and resource project environment.
- Demonstrated experience in controlling costs across multiple work packages in a portfolio-type project.
- Strong knowledge of cost control principles, including budget allocation, WBS, SOW, and cost terminology.
- Ability to generate detailed and insightful cost reports that accurately reflect the project's financial standing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify cost and schedule risks early and propose mitigating actions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and control project costs for various work packages within a portfolio-type project setting.
- Ensure accurate cost reporting and track financial performance to maintain transparency.
- Monitor progress on the project, flagging any potential budget or schedule issues.
- Identify risks and provide solutions in respect of engineering standards and project schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all cost control information is up-to-date and accurate
