Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Extensive experience in managing medium to large-scale projects in the oil & gas or refinery industry.
- Strong EPC or EPCM background with in-depth knowledge of the procurement life-cycle for equipment and materials.
- Adequate technical expertise to effectively interface with engineering teams, suppliers, and customers, ensuring smooth execution and closure of orders.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A self-starter attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- The ability to understand and respond agilely to project schedules and evolving priorities.
- A degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
Duties & Responsibilities
- Facilitate collaboration between suppliers and engineering teams to ensure timely issuance of deliverables and clearance for procurement and fabrication.
- Proactively coordinate input information to enable the engineering team to develop RFQ, RFP status, and Engineering Work Packs on schedule. Drive timely internal and customer reviews of engineering documents and drawings to maintain project timelines.
- Ensure multi-discipline input for critical packages, including criticality rating assessments, TBEs, and document reviews.
- Regularly review Procurement & Expediting Status reports and take action to address blockers, ensuring on-time engineering delivery and fabrication work.
