This is an exciting new opportunity available for an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join a global consultancy, working with one of Australia's largest steelworks on their blast furnace refurbishment.
- Deliver electrical and instrumentation engineering for assigned package areas for the project, ensuring engineering completion and adherence to project scope and budget
- Oversee design processes, including low-voltage distribution, drives, control systems and integration across disciplines
- Coordinate technical specifications, tendering, procurement and contract administration within assigned packages
- Manage cost control, planning, and reporting for assigned work packages, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
- Provide design and technical support to construction and commissioning teams, ensuring smooth execution and completion.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and maintain effective communication to resolve engineering issues and ensure project success.
- Lead and manage junior engineers, draftspersons, and contractors throughout project phases.
- Ensure compliance with Australian and international standards, driving safety and quality in all engineering outputs.
- Prepare electrical and instrumentation designs adhering to both client specifications and Australian Standards
