Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical design experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Vault software.
- Strong ability to interpret electrical engineering principles and apply them to practical design outcomes.
- Experience with large design projects and materials handling equipment.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards, codes of practice, and regulations.
- Proficient in creating and managing technical documentation, including schematics, single-line diagrams, and cable schedules.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to fostering a safety culture.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed electrical designs and drafting for materials handling equipment in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and maintain drawing systems using Autodesk Vault.
- Propose innovative design solutions to enhance safety and business value.
- Provide technical support to project managers, respond to technical queries, and review contractor drawings.
- Promote standardisation and high-performance design across CBH assets.
- Conduct site visits for inspections and support commissioning activities.
