Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in detailed electrical design and execution
- Solid experience working at an engineering consultancy in the oil and gas industry
- HV and LV systems, AC and DC systems. Arc flash hazard analysis and design of mitigation methods.
- Site experience in construction and commissioning
- System studies, protection coordination and design of protection systems
Duties & Responsibilities
- Delivering electrical designs including detailed design & specification (switchgear, MCCs, LV switchboards, UPS systems)
- Electrical calculations required for design
- Preparing design drawings including SLDs, schematics, terminations etc.
- Preparing ITPs, MTOs, datasheets, specifications, methodologies, procurement and construction scope of works
- Power systems modelling and analysis for HV and LV electrical system
