About the Job:
Are you ready to take on a challenging role in maintenance engineering? Our reputable client is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team in Perth CBD. In this role, you will provide maintenance engineering services for the assets of a Tier 1 operator within the Oil and Gas industry, driving optimisation in their ongoing maintenance strategies and asset reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review existing maintenance strategies and develop new strategies for project-specific equipment.
• Prepare CMMS Maintenance Master Data in accordance with client guidelines.
• Identify critical spares, manage the critical spares register, and ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Audit CMMS systems and initiate maintenance and material master data change requests.
• Prepare and update maintenance work instructions to ensure equipment reliability.
• Provide technical support and advice to team members and project teams.
• Implement improvement ideas based on recurring issues and monitor maintenance compliance with statutory requirements.
• Provide leadership to operational and maintenance teams and facilitate open communication.
• Review engineering specifications and drawings and propose design modifications for plant reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with developments and innovations in the discipline.

Requirements:
• Proven track record in implementing maintenance improvement projects.
• Extensive experience with FMECA, RCA, and RCM.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems such as SAP, MAXIMO, JDE etc
• Strong knowledge of local and international standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent customer focus and ability to meet client needs consistently.
• Ability to manage change effectively and adapt to new challenges.
• Competence in Python or R is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in a maintenance/ reliability within Oil and Gas is preferred.
• Tertiary Qualification within Electrical Engineering or Equivalent.
