We are looking to recruit a Senior Civil Designer for a mining project based in Queensland.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer to join a dynamic team of engineers, architects, and construction professionals. In this role, you will design and develop civil infrastructure components for projects in energy, transportation, water, mining, and other industrial sectors. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects with a focus on quality, safety, and sustainable practices.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed civil designs, including layouts, grading, drainage, utility alignments, and earthwork, ensuring compliance with Bechtel's quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to produce site layouts, alignments, and 3D models using design software such as OpenRoads and other tools.
• Analyse project requirements, engineering codes, and standards to ensure designs meet all relevant guidelines and regulations.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to align designs with project objectives and timelines.
• Support field teams during construction phases by providing design clarifications and updates as required.
• Contribute to quality assurance, control checks, and other process improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery.

We are looking for a candidate to be based in our client's office in Brisbane and are offering an initial 6 month contract, paying $105 per hour inclusive.
