Take on a pivotal role where you'll ensure environmental compliance by managing licensed monitoring, rehabilitation, conservation of significant fauna, and biosecurity obligations. Essential Qualifications & Skills
• Tertiary Degree in Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, Geoscience, Agriculture or Conservation Science
• Green Card (phytophthora dieback hygiene) and Environmental Legislation Essentials
• developing and/or reviewing procedures, management plans and ensuring effective implementation
• High level of technical and practical skills related to environmental compliance activities
Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist with the review of the Dust, Noise & Water Management Plans and supporting processes
• Assist with the review and implementation of the Conservation Significant Terrestrial Fauna Management Plan and supporting processes
• Coordinate and lead improvement projects for monitoring and terrestrial fauna management
• Provide coaching, development and support for fostering a collaborative and learning-focused work environment for less experienced members
• Conduct investigations into environmental incidents, assign actions and monitor close out
