Key Criteria
As the successful candidate for the role of Environmental Specialist you will meet the following criteria:
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary environmental projects, with a focus on mine closure and land rehabilitation.
• Experience in planning, managing, and executing mine closure projects.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and best practices for land rehabilitation and post-mining land use.
• Strong understanding of soil science principles, including soil classification, erosion control, and remediation techniques.
• Site assessments, contamination investigations, and remediation of contaminated land.
• Experience in conducting environmental assessments across different sectors such as mining, infrastructure, energy, and construction.
• Ability to assess and mitigate potential environmental impacts while ensuring sustainable outcomes.
• Engage in environmental approvals, assessments, and regulatory advice for a range of projects across mining, resources, and infrastructure.
• Work alongside a passionate and experienced team to deliver innovative solutions for our clients, while enhancing the environmental outcomes of their projects.
• University degree in Environmental science/ management/ engineering of similar.
