They pride themselves on delivering high-quality services and innovative solutions to their extensive client base.
About the Role
As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, strategic growth, increased profitability, and team leadership. You'll collaborate closely with the Managing Director and Area Managers, ensuring seamless execution of projects and maintaining strong client relationships. The role will oversee the Kalgoorlie operations, therefore there will be regular travel to Kalgoorlie to support the team.

About the Role
As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, strategic growth, increased profitability, and team leadership. You'll collaborate closely with the Managing Director and Area Managers, ensuring seamless execution of projects and maintaining strong client relationships. The role will oversee the Kalgoorlie operations, therefore there will be regular travel to Kalgoorlie to support the team.
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute business strategies aligned with company goals.
- Execute growth opportunities and drive expansion into new markets.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including project and shutdown management, logistics, and safety.
- Review and develop operational policies and procedures to enable sustainable company growth
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team including managers, trades, operators and corporate staff.
- Provide coaching and professional development opportunities.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Key Criteria
To be successful in this General Manager position you will have a wealth of experience leading high achieving teams. You will bring to the role the following experience:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role in a mining services company.
- Proven experience in creating and implementing company policies and procedures which are essential for a mining services company.
- Strong understanding of mining operations (including shutdowns and project work), safety protocols, and industry trends.
- Change management skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
