Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Proven leadership experience in road logistics, transport, or supply chain management.
• Strong operational expertise in route optimisation, fleet management, and logistics planning.
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations, compliance, and industry best practices.
• Financial management experience, including budgeting and cost control.
• Experience in implementing technology solutions to enhance logistics efficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Duties & Responsibilities
As the General Manager - Road Logistics, you will be responsible for leading and managing our road transport operations to ensure efficient, safe, and profitable service delivery. You will play a key role in developing strategic initiatives, overseeing daily logistics activities, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimise road logistics operations.
• Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stake holders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for expansion.
• Manage budgets and financial plans to ensure profitability.
• Drive innovation by implementing technology and process improvements.
