About the Role
Our clients are currently seeking HSE Advisors to support multiple projects within the WA Mining and Construction sector in both Perth-based and FIFO capacities. These projects cover both Brownfield and Greenfield scopes of work within commodities such as Iron Ore, Gold, Lithium and Rare Earths.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implementation and improvement of project Health and Safety Management systems
• Undertaking audits, inspections and risk assessments across the site
• Assist and contribute to incident investigations on site
• Involvement in prestart and weekly progress meetings
• Assist in embedding health and safety initiatives and programs
Key Criteria:
• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)
• Strong knowledge of relevant HS legislation and standards
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Ability to influence behaviours and drive H&S strategy
• Previous experience within the construction/mining sector
