Job description

Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an Isolations and Permit Officer (2:1 Swing) to join their site team on a major mining project. In this role, you will support the Permit & Isolation Lead in planning, preparing, and executing all isolation practices.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Permit & Isolation Lead with planning and executing isolation practices.
- Prepare and coordinate isolation permits, ensuring they align with project procedures.
- Interpret procedures, drawings, and work practices.
- Ensure compliance with HSE performance KPIs.
- Communicate permitting requirements clearly.
- Support Personal Isolation officer training, conduct field inspections, and prepare isolation plans.
- Audit electrical and mechanical isolations for statutory compliance.
- Collaborate with commissioning teams and manage hazards.

Requirements:
- Preferably a WA Electricians license.
- Relevant experience, preferably in mining and iron ore fixed plants.
- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, organizational skills, and team communication.
