Newly created opportunity available for a Senior/ Lead Electrical / Instrumentation Design Drafter to join this Australian engineering consultancy, specialising in OT and Control Systems.
As a Senior/ Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Designer/ Drafter, you will be responsible for preparing high quality electrical, instrumentation and controls drawings, as well as supporting the growing CAD team.

Newly created opportunity available for a Senior/ Lead Electrical / Instrumentation Design Drafter to join this Australian engineering consultancy, specialising in OT and Control Systems.
As a Senior/ Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Designer/ Drafter, you will be responsible for preparing high quality electrical, instrumentation and controls drawings, as well as supporting the growing CAD team.
Responsibilities
- Design and documentation of electrical services
- Design and documentation of single line diagrams, general arrangement drawings, hazardous area drawings, motor schematics, termination drawings, loop drawings
- Prepare as-built drawings from red-line markups
- Maintain company design drafting procedures
- Document control, responsible for developing and maintaining deliverables registers for projects, transmittal management
- Support and lead drafters and designers, working closely with the engineers
More about you
- Previous experience in electrical/ instrumentation design drafting using AutoCAD
- Previous experience with AVEVA Instrumentation, desirable
- Qualifications in Engineering, desirable
- Experience in mining or minerals processing industries, desirable
- Understanding of electrical equipment in hazardous areas
