We are seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Electrical Designer to join an EI&C firm and manage major projects both in Australia and internationally. With new opportunities ahead, they require a skilled professional ready to step into a leadership role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide guidance to the electrical design and drafting team on multiple projects.
- Oversee the production of single line, schematic, and termination diagrams.
- Ensure accurate coordination and tracking of drawings and revisions.
- Work closely with project engineers to suggest and implement design enhancements.
- Communicate with clients, regulatory authorities, and suppliers to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of design experience, ideally in mineral processing and mining projects.
- Strong expertise in creating Single Line, Schematic, and Termination Diagrams.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MicroStation (required).
- Ability to interpret project requirements and meet deadlines.
- Proven leadership skills with a positive, can-do approach.
- Desire to provide guidance and mentorship.
