Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor Mechanical Engineering (with CP Eng or in process of acquiring)
- Min 5 years in a leadership role
- Min 10 years design experience desirable
- 3D Solid works design proficient, FEA.
- Experience in design and manufacture of underground, mining, construction, fabricated steel structures and pumping systems.
- Manufacturing or OEM experience desirable
- Strong written and communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the Mechanical Engineering Team.
- Assist in the development of new products, competencies, markets and customers to support the ongoing growth of the business.
- Design of mechanical and or structural works
- Calculations as required for designs - FEA etc.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
