Role Opportunity
Lead/Principal Civil Engineer wih strong technical and commercial acumen to join a national civil engineering firm. This wil role will focus on delivering key resource and infrastructure projects as well as playing a key role growing the Perth Civil Engineering team.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Formal Civil Engineering qualifications that are recognised by Engineers Australia.
  • Strong consultant engineering bacground.
  • Experience in the planning, development, design, and management of civil and multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects including road design, earthworks, drainage and water management design, and general civil works.
  • Excellent stakeholder skills and the ability to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience leading small civil engineering teams
  • Good knowledge and application of Austroads, MRWA and Local Government standards.
  • Knowledge and application of stormwater engineering, hydrological theory, Australian rainfall and runoff and water hydraulics.
  • Experienced with design reports, technical specifications, drawings, BOQ's and cost estimates.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Executing technical tasks for civil infrastructure projects.
  • Preparing design documentation, such as reports, technical specifications, drawings, bills of quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates.
  • Managing and coordinating project deliveries and proposals, involving both office-based and on-site work as needed.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members in their development, well-being, and workload management.
  • Engaging in client relationship management and contributing to business development activities.
  • Actively participating in team and business group activities, including meetings, workshops, training sessions, and strategic planning initiatives.

We are working closely with a well regarded national civil & water engineering consultant. Their services include; water management, civil design and geotechnical design to environmental management and approvals. They undertake projects within the mining & resources, government, infrastructure and private sectors.
