Job Overview:
Our client is looking for multiple Mid to Senior Control System Engineers to join their team, driven by increased resourcing needs from their extensive projects and sustaining capital project portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver control system software, including testing and commissioning (PLC Upgrades).
- Prepare project documentation such as scopes of work, functional specifications, and test documentation.
- Provide continuous improvements across all aspects of control systems.
- Design, develop, and implement control system solutions, both independently and within a team.
- Support control system PLC and SCADA.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure control system requirements are met, including reviewing proposals, technical solutions, risk identification, and mitigation.
- Perform control system designs, programming, testing, and commissioning.
- Review and comment on changes requiring control system engineering input.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (System Controls).
- 3+ years of experience as a Control Systems Engineer.
- Experience with Schneider Control Expert, Wonderware, GE Proficy Machine Edition, Cimplicity, and Proficy HMI/SCADA software.
- Strong logical problem-solving skills.
