Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Over 15 years of experience in the resources sector, with senior leadership experience in consulting engineering.
- Strong knowledge of mine-to-port infrastructure, NPI development, and mine planning.
- Demonstrated expertise in business development, with established client and supply chain relationships.
- Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing teams.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a road map to establish a robust, sustainable business unit.
- Business Development: Forge strong relationships with key stake holders, clients, and supply chains to secure projects and build a pipeline of work.
- Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and lead a multidisciplinary team of engineering and project delivery professionals.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee financial performance, resource allocation, and quality assurance to meet client and company expectations.
- P&L Responsibility: Manage budgets, forecasts, and profitability to drive consistent growth and long-term sustainability.
