About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Power Systems Engineer to join our team in Australia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, power systems design and analysis, and a proven track record in the field. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the growth and success of our company.
Responsibilities
• Design, analysis and simulation of electrical power systems for various applications
• Development of power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination and harmonic analysis
• Preparation of technical reports, specifications, and engineering studies
• Coordination and communication with clients, contractors and other stakeholders
• Evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies in the field of power systems
Key Criteria
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in power systems engineering
• Strong knowledge of power system analysis and design software, such as PSS/E, ETAP, or similar
• Familiarity with Australian electrical standards and codes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
