Job description

About the Role
• Lead OR Principal Process Engineer
• You will be responsible for supporting one of the major Energy projects and will supervise and check Process Design Deliverables and activities

Key Responsibilities
• Set objectives, support and mentor the Process Engineers under your direction, providing appropriate recognition and feedback
• Work collaboratively within the Project team and the customer to ensure Project objectives are met and customer expectations are realised
• Ensure Process Engineering services and deliverables meet the standards as well as applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
• Ensure Process Engineering services and deliverables are provided within agreed project schedule and budget
• Participate in relevant meetings, provide progress updates and drive quality within the Process team
• Understand the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes
• Keep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in process engineering

Key Criteria
• A recognised degree in the relevant engineering discipline or equivalent
• Preferred Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking Chartered Engineer accreditation
• Excellent technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work
• A thorough knowledge of the fundamental requirements of process engineering, and a good understanding of requirements of other engineering fields
• Proven track record successfully delivering complicated and/or fast track projects
• Competent use of process engineering specific software and relevant software such as MS Office Suite
• Extensive Process Engineering experience in hydrocarbon, chemicals or similar industry.- refinery and/or tank farm experience is desirable
