Can you provide expert guidance on tenure and land access matters across iron ore operations? Based in Perth on a contract arrangement, this role will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support project development through effective tenure management.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Holds a tertiary qualification in Land Management, Law
• Extensive tenure management experience in mining industry
• Strong knowledge of WA mining laws, Native Title
• Skilled in liaising with regulators and landowners effectively

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain tenure for iron ore projects, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
• Provide strategic advice on land access, permitting, and approvals
• Liaise with government agencies, Traditional Owners, and other key stakeholders
• Support exploration and operational teams with tenure-related requirements
• Oversee tenure applications, renewals, and negotiations
• Identify and mitigate tenure risks affecting project timelines
• Extensive experience in tenure management within the mining industry (iron ore preferred)
• Strong understanding of WA mining legislation, Native Title, and environmental approvals
• Proven ability to liaise with regulators, landowners, and Indigenous groups
