Role Opportunity
Owner side Project Engineer - Non Process Infrastructure role to work across a variety of sustaining capital packages for a large gold project. The role is a 8/6 FIFO position from Brisbane or Northern Territory only,

Benefits:

• Initial 12 month contract, good chance of extension
• 8/6 FIFO position from Brisbane or Northern Territory only,
• 12 hour days, 6 hours on fly out day.
• Busy project portfolio.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Engineer
• Client side or EPCM experience preferred
• Strong non process infrastructure project experience (buildings) within the mining sector.
• Previous site experience
• End to end project phase experience experience
• Good understanding of scope development, project development & delivery and business readiness.
• Understands front end process and delivery requirements
• Able to manage contractors
• Methodical and process driven
• Capable of handling invoices
• Excellent stakeholder skills
• Understands CAPEX / OPEX budget processes
• Understands mining safety processes and procedures
• Strong in MS Project and MS Office

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible and accountable for scope development, development, and business readiness across a portfolio of NPI projects
• Working with a small contractor to develop results.
• Able to manage construction pre mob including kick off meetings with contractors/suppliers etc
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the Contract Documentation
• All Contractor reporting is timely and accurate
• Progress claims are submitted timely and accurately
• All Quality Reporting/Recording is performed as the works proceed and the MDR is updated daily
• Good understanding of tender and contract documentation
• Able to interface closely with stakeholders
