Project Manager / Construction Manager
📍 Location: Gladstone, QLD (Onsite with WFH Flexibility)
📆 Roster: Weekly travel to Gladstone, 10-hour days
💰 Rate: $110 - $140 per hour
📜 Contract Length: 6 months
Role Opportunity
A large-scale industrial project requires an experienced Project Manager / Construction Manager to oversee engineering consultants, fabricators, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. This role is crucial in driving fabrication, installation, and site execution while managing costs and schedules effectively.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager in heavy industry, infrastructure, or energy projects
• Expertise in SMP (Structural, Mechanical, Piping) package delivery
• Experience working with engineering consultancies & fabricators
• Strong ability to manage schedules, costs & contractor performance
• Proactive, solution-focused leader with stakeholder engagement skills
Duties & Responsibilities
• Oversee & manage engineering consultants & fabricators
• Ensure fabrication & installation progress smoothly on-site & in-factory
• Manage SMP package equipment and field fabrication
• Handle contract management, scheduling & cost control
• Act as the primary on-site representative, reporting to senior leadership
• Coordinate platform & tie-in works (~$2M scope)
