Role Opportunity:
Client side Reliability Engineer opportunity for a initial 6 month contract (potential to extend). This role will focus on managing structural repairs and maintenance activities for mining plant structures for a large gold project.

Benefits:

• Duration: 6 month contract with possible extension
• FIFO roster offering either an 8:6 roster or 2:2 roster, with a point of hire from Perth, Brisbane, or Darwin.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree in Reliability/Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong background managing structural repairs and maintenance activities for mining plant structures
• Experience developing asset life plans, strategies, service plans and critical spares
• SAP experience
• Thorough knowledge of engineering and production processes.
• Experience working on site within a mining and resources environment
• Self-starting and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
• Thorough understanding of safety legislation, practices and requirements.

  Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement structural maintenance and repair strategies for mining assets.
• Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations on mechanical structures.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to improve reliability and extend asset life.
• Review, modify, and optimise preventative and predictive maintenance plans.
• Provide technical expertise on structural repairs, refurbishment, and asset integrity.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage contractors, review scopes of work, and oversee structural repair projects.
