Sales and Application Engineer
Role Opportunity
Responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities by crafting and managing project proposals, engaging with clients to understand their needs, and driving the process from initial contact through to project award
Benefits
• Full-time permanent position
• Opportunity for career progression into Sales Engineer or Project Engineer
• Around $100k/ annum (plus super) - depending on experience
Essential Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's in mechanical or chemical engineering
• Experience in preparing project proposals including project scoping and budgeting
• Experience in mining process plants
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical sales or application engineer role in the resources industry
Duties & Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed and technically accurate project proposals including cost estimates, timelines, and project execution plans
• Conduct research on industry trends, client needs, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure project proposals are feasible
• Commissioning Plans, Procedures and work pack development
• Maintain pipeline of ongoing proposals, follow up on leads, and keep clients updated on project developments
