About the role:

• Experienced Civil Project Engineer to work on a key resources project
• Key scopes includes delivery of a fly camp, and demolition of existing NPI and related infrastructure. A key part of this job is managing the Earthworks contractors
• Bulk earthworks background required
• Provide engineering and technical support at site and ensure all civil engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Obtain appropriate approvals and document calculations, specifications, and variations.
• Prepare documentation for standards, procedures and safe working practices.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of activities.
• Provide innovative solutions to complex challenges and strive towards safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements.
• FIFO roster: 8:6 roster from Perth flight day is Monday, 11.5 hr days
• Initial 12 month contract with good chance of extension
• Competitive hourly rate offered

Key Criteria

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil engineering.
• Strong Civil Project Engineering background and previous site experience within mining projects.
• Bulk earthworks project experience
• EPCM or owner side experience preferred
• Strong contractor management experience
• Able to liaise with the client and a range of stakeholders
• Able to track cost, schedule and forecasts
• Able to complete a range of project documents
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent safety attitude
