Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in Australian mining or heavy industrial projects, including systems integrator, OEM, or EPCM environments.
- Proficiency in PLC and SCADA programming (e.g. Rockwell, Schneider, GE/Emerson, Citect, FactoryTalk View, Wonderware).
- Experience in bulk materials handling, mineral processing, or mobile machinery (stackers, reclaimers, shiploaders).
- Knowledge of IT/OT network design, virtualised environments, and programming (e.g. VBA, Python, Powershell).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver control system designs, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Lead and participate in commissioning, optimisation, and troubleshooting activities.
- Help mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and task allocation.
- Engage with clients to understand requirements and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain safety and quality standards throughout all project stages.
