Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Tertiary qualification in engineering with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in control systems engineering.
- Proven expertise in Yokogawa DCS programming and commissioning.
- Strong background in mineral processing or heavy industrial environments.
- Ability to work in a remote, site-based setting on a FIFO roster.
- Strong understanding of process control systems and commissioning best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, electrical drawings, commissioning plans, and validation reports.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimise control systems in a live site environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, working within multidisciplinary teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Program, configure, test, and commission Yokogawa DCS systems.
- Lead on-site commissioning activities to ensure seamless system integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues during commissioning.
- Work closely with engineers, site personnel, and project teams to meet milestones.
- Ensure accurate documentation, testing, and validation for all control system components.
