Job Overview:
Our client is seeking multiple Senior Electrical Designers to join their team due to increased resourcing requirements for their large projects and sustaining capital project portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in detailed design and construction packages for various mining projects.
- Utilize Intelligent BIM modelling in MicroStation (Open Buildings Designer) for both 2D and 3D designs.
- Perform detailed 2D and/or 3D modelling and checking.
- Undertake occasional site visits as required.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality design solutions
Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of relevant Electrical & Instrumentation design experience.
- Good understanding of MicroStation 2D and/or 3D preferred.
- Familiarity with Intelligent BIM modelling techniques.
- Strong background in detailed design for mining projects.
- Experience with electrical switchboard replacements and upgrade projects.
- Ability to work on conveyor drive projects and high-density ore handling systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Rio Tinto and BHP systems and procedures is highly desirable.
- Mining experience is essential.
What's Offered:
- Approx. $100 p/h inc
- Busy, National EPCM
- Mix of WFH & CBD
- 12-Month Initial Contract
- 1st-Tier Mining Project
