About the Job:
We're seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client's team in Perth for an exciting project within the Oil and Gas industry. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in driving and delivering safe and sustainable fit for purpose' electrical engineering services for a project located in the northern region of Western Australian.
Responsibilities:
• Provide electrical engineering services that meet client standards.
• Perform and support engineering design and technical verification of project deliverables.
• Proactively manage safety hazards and risks throughout the asset lifecycle.
• Prepare and oversee engineering calculations, drawings, and documentation, ensuring compliance with procedures.
• Participate in site visits, project reviews, HAZIDs/HAZOPs, and safety in design workshops.
• Facilitate Safety in Design risk assessments and prepare detailed engineering estimates.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and site teams.
• Oversee the sequence of engineering tasks to ensure timely project delivery and act as the primary contact for discipline-specific issues.
• Ensure technical integrity and provide direction and supervision for engineering and design.
• Maintain quality and consistency in deliverables, manage change control, and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Manage resources as required to meet project schedules and budgets.
Requirements:
• Relevant tertiary qualification within Electrical Engineering or similar.
• 7+ years of experience on Oil & Gas projects.
• Experience across front end design, consultancy experience will be advantageous.
• Strong technical experience in Brownfield projects.
• Ability to lead a small team of electrical engineers.
