We are looking for multiple Senior Electrical Engineers to join our client's team on a new project. You will contribute to various project phases, from early-stage conceptual studies to detailed design and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver electrical engineering services that meet company and regulatory standards.
- Manage and support the technical design and verification of electrical engineering deliverables.
- Conduct engineering calculations, produce technical drawings, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Participate in project reviews, HAZID/HAZOPs, and Safety in Design workshops.
- Oversee project scope, schedules, and budgets, ensuring efficient coordination with contractors and vendors.
- Provide technical guidance to the team and manage interfaces with installation contractors and the site team.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in electrical engineering, particularly on Australian projects, with a focus on iron ore or similar sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Power Engineering (Australian recognised); CPEng status and Functional Safety Certification preferred.
- Proven experience in HV/LV systems, power distribution, and electrical calculations (e.g., earthing, arc flash, power system studies).
- Site experience in construction, commissioning, and inspections.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage projects and work both independently and as part of a team.
