We are seeking a Senior Expeditor with extensive experience in complex procurement and logistics, particularly in the engineering, construction, energy, chemical, and resources sectors. In this role, you will ensure the timely and quality delivery of both engineered and non-engineered materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage expediting to meet schedule and quality requirements.
- Lead or participate in kick-off and supplier progress meetings.
- Track supplier progress and ensure timely delivery per purchase orders.
- Update expediting status and provide progress reports.
- Address delays and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Expedite approval of critical documents and sub-supplier orders.
- Monitor fabrication, ensuring inspections and hold points are completed.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure supplier performance.
- Expedite punch list closure and review vendor packing for compliance.
- Issue shipping releases and ensure timely, safe material transport.
- Resolve overages, shortages, and damages with vendors.
- Ensure final documentation approval and package closure.
Key Criteria:
- Strong commitment to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) practices.
- Degree in engineering, supply chain, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive expediting experience within EPCM/EPC organizations on major projects.
- Skilled in analyzing supplier schedules and identifying critical paths.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work across multiple time zones.
- Experience with project and procurement software (Aveva ERM, Requis, Aconex preferred).
