The HS Manager will lead safety, ensuring compliance, promoting a positive safety culture, and driving performance improvements. Key responsibilities include hazard management, incident reporting, contractor compliance, and safety training.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Recognised HS qualification with strong knowledge of HS legislation and standards.
• Experience as an HS Manager in FIFO roles within Construction or Mining sectors,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to influence and lead teams, including contractors
• Extensive technical and leadership experience in HS
• Commitment to delivering high-quality services and achieving the project's HS vision and goals

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure a robust hazard identification system is in place
• Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and injury management within specified timelines.
• Coordinate HS forums and the Fatality Prevention Program (FPP)
• Ensure contractor assessments and audits are conducted as per the WHS Plan
• Address safety deficiencies identified in inspections, audits, and incidents to prevent recurrence
