Role Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join an exciting well-established team working across a variety of building services projects across Australia.
This is a well-established and dynamic business that has Building Services projects across Australia. Delivering a variety of designs from schools, hospitals, high rise etc.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

To be considered for the role, you will meet the following criteria:

• Minimum Diploma in engineering or an engineering degree qualification.
• Project team-leading and client consultation experience.
• 6+ years of industry experience within Australia.
• Ability to work both within a team environment and with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of NCC, Australian Standards and all other code requirements relative to hydraulic and fire services (AS/NZS 3500, AS 2419 and AS2118) would be nice to have
• Be comfortable in a client-facing role - dealing with clients in a professional and confident manner.
• Have industry experience in building services

Duties & Responsibilities

Some of your tasks will include:

• Designing building hydraulic systems
• Performing hydraulic calculations for water demand, pressure, flow rates, and pipe sizing.
• Coordinating with architects, structural engineers, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) teams, and contractors to align designs and resolve conflicts.
• Ensuring hydraulic designs comply with local building codes, plumbing regulations, and water authority requirements.
• Preparing technical documentation for permits and approvals, including hydraulic schematics, calculations, and specifications.
