About the Role:

• Senior Project Engineer - Civil to work across key iron ore projects, These projects will range from studies, partial closures to major projects
• Demonstrated experience working on civil mining earthworks projects.
• Able to manage construction pre mob including kick off meetings with contractors/suppliers etc
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the Contract Documentation
• All Contractor reporting is timely and accurate
• Progress claims are submitted timely and accurately
• All Quality Reporting/Recording is performed as the works proceed and the MDR is updated daily
• Good understanding of tender and contract documentation
• Able to interface closely with client, vendors and suppliers
• EPCM experience required
• Able to complete a range of project documentation
• Perth CBD based
• Initial 12 month contract offered and competitive hourly rate offered

Key Criteria

• Formal Civil Engineering qualifications
• Strong Civil Bulk Earthworks experience
• Ability to manage multiple packages through the entire project life cycle - from initiation, pre-feasibility, basic engineering, detailed design, tender evaluation, execution and commissioning.
• EPCM background required
• Strong background in work package delivery with a good understanding of procurement, tender/contract documentation, schedule, cost tracking, reporting and quality.
• Able to work closely with clients, vendors and suppliers
• Able top complete a range of project documentation
• Excellent safety attitude
